About Us

Torbrex Community Council was set up in 1996 to keep local residents informed about important issues in their community and to give them a voice in helping to influence the way these changes were implemented.

There are six community councillors. At present these are Jim Docherty (Chairperson), Sue Ridler (Treasurer), Murray Dickie  (Secretary), John Buchan, Genia Graham and Hirek Kwiatkowski. 

The Community Council are members of Stirling Council's Area Forum 05 and of the St Ninians Community Development Trust.
